Nancy Stiles
HBAC Chair, Representing the Town of Hampton. Current term ends 2024
Nancy holds a Bachelor of Science in Management, served 30 yrs. as Director of School Nutrition for the Hampton Schools and was an adjunct professor at UNH. Senator Stiles served 12 yrs. in the NH Legislature as chair of multiple committees. She was honored to personally deliver legislation to King Abdullah for the celebratory opening of the American University at Madaba, Jordan and served as their graduation speaker. Nancy served on the Governing Boards at three European Universities. Nancy has served as HBAC’s Chair from 2018 to the present.

Pat Bushway
HBAC Vice Chair, Representing the Town of Hampton. Current term ends 2026
Pat moved with her family to Hampton Beach in 1969 when her parents bought and operated a business on A Street. It was a family business and she worked alongside her siblings and parents tending bowling lanes, renting bicycles, and maintaining summer rental apartments. As a result of this experience, she gained a real appreciation for what it means to live and work at Hampton Beach. Pat retains that attachment to the beach and continues to enjoy all that it has to offer year-round. Read more.

Michael Housman
HBAC Treasurer, Representing the NH Dept. Natural & Cultural Resources. No term limit
Commissioner Housman is the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources representative to the Hampton Beach Area Commission. Mike is the Supervisor of Operations for NH State Parks and has been in the role for 17 years. He has been a member of the Hampton Beach Area Commission for over 12 years and serves as the Treasurer for the Commission. He lives in Weare, NH and is married with two kids.

Bill Watson
NH Dept. of Transportation. No term limit.
For over 30 years Bill Watson has been employed by the NH Department of Transportation. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1991 with a degree in Civil Engineering. His experience with the Department has allowed him to spend time in Engineering, Finance, and IT management positions. However, Bill has spent most of his career as the Administrator of the Bureau of Planning and Community Assistance. Read more.

Barbara Kravitz
Rockingham Planning Commission (theRPC). Current term ends 2025
A member of the RPC Executive and Nominating Committees, Barbara previously served as Chair of the RPC and is the recipient of the Quinlan Award for Outstanding Community and Regional Planning. Additionally, she represents the RPC on the New Hampshire Association of Regional Planning Commissions as well as the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy Steering Committee of the Regional Economic Development Center (REDC/CEDS). For nine years she worked as the Administrator of the Seabrook, NH Planning Board. Read More.

Bob Preston
Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce. Current term ends 2026

Experience Hampton, Board of Directors. EH was founded in 2010. Its mission is to organize, promote, manage events and projects in Hampton. The Board and many dedicated volunteers produce The Annual Christmas Parade. Read more.

Chuck Rage
Hampton Village District. Current term ends 2025
Chuck is a longtime businessman on Hampton Beach. At age 13 he began making “I love Hampton Beach” buttons in his garage and selling them to all the stores on Hampton Beach. He opened his first jewelry store at age 16 and at 18 bought The Pelham Resort Motel. Through the years he became involved in local politics, first as treasurer of the Hampton Beach Village District, then as its Commissioner and chairman for the last 17 years. He is starting his second three-year term on the Hampton Board of Selectmen and has been a commissioner on the HBAC and other local boards for many years.

Alex Loiseau
Hampton Village District. Current term ends 2026
Alex is a lifelong resident of Hampton and is the broker/owner of Harris Real Estate, a company that has been managing vacation rentals on Hampton Beach for over 80 years. Alex grew up working in family businesses at the beach and is passionate about all things Hampton. In addition to the HBAC, he also serves on the Board of Directors for the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce.

Dylan Drake
Member at Large. Current term ends 2026
My name is Dylan Drake. I currently live on Towle Farm Road in Hampton with my wife, son, and dog. Hampton is where I grew up. It is my home. I went through both SAU90 and SAU21 school districts, graduating from Winnacunnet High School in 2008. I played many sports throughout my years here as well as attended many community events. Jason Bachand, AICP, CFM
Hampton Town Planner
Jason Bachand has served as Town Planner for the Town of Hampton since 2014. Mr. Bachand’s responsibilities in this position include but are not limited to the review of land use and development applications, drafting and amending local regulations, directing the daily operations of the Town’s Planning Office, and providing staff support to several local Boards/Commissions including the Planning Board and the Hampton Beach Area Commission. Ann Carnaby
HBAC Administrative Assistant
Ann is a long-time resident of Hampton and holds a BS from the University of Rhode Island and an MA from New York University. She is retired from a long career in the performing arts and has also worked in such varied arenas as health care, lobbying on a state level and as faculty teaching undergraduates at Trenton State College and the University of New Hampshire. She joined with the HBAC for the Transportation Master Plan update in 2018 out of curiosity over what the HBAC did and has been involved ever since. Ann is chair of the Hampton Planning Board, is one of Hampton’s three appointed commissioners to the Rockingham Planning Commission and a member of the Hampton Heritage Commission.
