JENNIFER HALEMember at Large Jennifer Hale is the Director of the Hampton Department of Public Works (DPW) with over 29 years of experience working alongside both private and public entities related to engineering design, policy decision and project management. Since joining Hampton DPW in 2015, she has overseen millions of dollars in project expenditures for both emergency and planned projects. These projects have included emergency seawall repairs and new wall designs, flood studies related to sea level rise and repetitive loss as well as many other infrastructure and roadway projects. As funding has become a sizeable obstacle for the investments needed in the Town of Hampton, Jennifer continues to search out resources and partnerships to implement projects to become a flood resilient community. Throughout her career, Jennifer has focused on providing effective leadership and emphasizes the importance for continual and clear communication. She is committed to working with fellow employees, regulating agencies, project partners and the public. Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of New Hampshire. She is professional engineer licensed in New Hampshire and Massachusetts; a licensed septic designer, and a graduate of Leadership Seacoast, Class of 2008. Jennifer resides in Hampton with her husband and cherishes being Grammie. She also loves the community in which she lives and works.
